Fundraising
|
Fundraising is a very important part of what the FLC Native American Alumni Association does. And it is donors like you who make our efforts successful. Every gift we receive is important to us, and to the students who will benefit from your generosity. Our biggest goal is to create an endowed scholarship for Native American students attending Fort Lewis College. We have just begun the journey, and we hope you will take it with us. The road leading to college is not easy for anyone, and much more difficult for Native American students. However, many students still manage to attend college because they know that a college degree will help them help their home communities. Unfortunately, many students end up dropping out of college because of the lack of financial resources. With your help, we can ensure that no student that wants a college degree will have to give up his or her dream. Currently, we are selling mouse pads with a design donated by Gary "Waya" Keene, a FLC alum. Click here to see the design on our Home page. We are also accepting tax-deductible donations. We are a part of the Fort Lewis College Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. Please remember us as you plan your year-end giving, and be sure to tell your friends about us.
